Harry Potter Sirius Black Flat Up For Sale For £385K

A flat in a house that was home to one of the best-loved characters in the Harry Potter films has been put up for sale.

The elegant Grade-II listed Georgian terrace in Claremont Square can be seen in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as the location of Grimmauld Place, the ancestral home of Sirius Black, Harry’s godfather.

The property has been listed by estate agent Knight Frank, with a guide price of £385,000.

The 339sq ft flat is a leasehold, with ground rent costing £10 and an annual service charge of £600.96.

The estate agent said it could not confirm the date of the next review of ground rent and service charge.

The flat is just 0.2 miles from Angel station, and is described as being “a stone’s throw” from Amwell village.

But any muggles who want to buy the flat may have already missed their chance – Knight Frank confirmed today (March 20) that the property is still for sale, but is under offer.
