Thameslink Releases Brent Cross West Station Timetable Details

Brent Cross West, located between Cricklewood and Hendon stations on the Midland Mainline, will be operational from December 10.

Thameslink services will connect the new station to central London, with journey times to St Pancras taking as little as 12 minutes.

READ MORE: Trains to stop at new London station for first time next month At peak times, up to eight trains an hour will pass through the station, providing links to Luton Airport and the Elizabeth line via Farringdon.

Announcing a new timetable for December incorporating Brent Cross West, operator Thameslink said passengers will be served by six trains each way per hour during off-peak hours and weekends.

There will be four trains per hour between St Albans and Sutton, and two per hour between Luton and Rainham (Kent), with a further two trains per hour at peak times provided by the Luton-Orpington services.

A new overbridge at Brent Cross West will connect parts of Barnet and Brent, providing the first pedestrian access across this stretch of the Midland Mainline.

A new neighbourhood called Brent Cross Town is planned as part of a wider 180-acre development around the station, with 6,700 new homes and office space for 25,000 workers, alongside a new high street.
